A CFD, or Contract for Difference, is an agreement between two parties to exchange the difference between the opening price and closing price of a contract. Leverage is used to significantly increase your investment potential. It is a multiplier of your trading deposit. This allows you to take more or larger positions, which can lead to greater profits or losses. You must always be aware of the leverage you are trading and the margin (deposited funds) required to maintain these positions.
Margin (or ‘margin requirement’) is the deposit required to open and maintain a leveraged position. It’s defined by a deposit factor (or margin factor) and is expressed as a percentage of the trade value. Margin requirements are influenced by market fluctuations, account types, slippage factors, stop losses and your position size. We use a tiered system that takes into account your aggregate exposure to specific markets.

Our aim is to help you start trading as quickly as possible. If you reside in the India, you will get a response from us within 2 to 5 minutes from when you submit your online application form.

In the event that the original funding account is no longer available, you will need to provide us with evidence of its status, such as an account statement or relative document issued by your bank. Documentation must include the following:

The payment was rejected by your bank This can usually be resolved by contacting your bank or card issuer.
The payment failed online If you think the payment was successful but can’t see the funds on your account after a few minutes, it’s likely the payment failed online. Clear your cookies and cache, log back in and try again.
In some circumstances, your bank may contact you to verify a payment before the transaction is authorised.
The name on the card doesn’t match For security reasons, your chosen card must be in the same name as your account with us. We don’t accept payments from third parties or corporate cards, even if the card is in your name. If you’re a corporate account holder, please fund your account by bank transfer.
The address doesn’t match Make sure the address we hold for you matches the address registered with the bank you’re using to fund. You can edit your address by logging in to My IG, going to the ‘settings’ tab and selecting ‘personal details’.
Please contact your card issuer if a charge appears on your card after an address mismatch.
